York Minster

Last week I spent a week singing with a choir, Cantemus Cum Spiritu, at York Minster. We sang all the services at the minster during the week, which was exhausting and wonderful! I managed to find time in the mornings and at lunchtimes for some sketching. After a year in New Zealand it was amazing to have so many ancient buildings and monuments to draw.

Here are some of my sketches of the cathedral.

  1. The Spouse doesn’t go much on my blogging … but she adores the UK north and especially loves York Minster. I’ll drag her struggling and screaming to the computer to see, after which I’ll have to use tyre levers to get her away from these truly lovely sketches.

If you haven’t considered doing a book I think you should …
